WESTPORT — Weston Software Inc. last month was awarded a $500,000 grant from Connecticut Innovations Inc. (CII), the state’s quasi-public technology investment arm. The grant will aid development of Weston’s PowerOne integrated auditweston

reporting system that was voted “Most Promising Software of the Year” by the Connecticut Technology Council last year. PowerOne is a task-automated platform that manages and controls all computing devices across a user’s enterprise. The system was created to help ease the auditing process for companies and meet compliance requirements. Weston Software says it will use the grant to buy equipment, hire developers, and expand the marketing of the PowerOne platform.
