CHESHIRE — Last year’s winner of the first-ever U.S. Cyber Challenge, Michael Coppola of Cheshire, is hoping to help open opportunities or young people interested in cyber security. The then-17-year-old won the hacker challenge by breaking into the competition’s scoring system and adding points to his score. The challenge was implemented to find young individuals with the talent to become cyber security leaders. Coppola is working with the Sans Institute to organize cyber security classes for high school students.
