Top 40 Highlights Growing Tech Firms

HARTFORD — A lucky 13 New Haven-area companies have made the list of the fastest growing technology companies there the state.

The Connecticut Technology Council tramadol no prescription Marcum LLP have announced the Marcum Tech Top 40, which honors 40 such companies each year. Winners are grouped into six areas: software, IT tramadol generic life sciences, advanced manufacturing, new media/internet/telecom, and energy/environmental technologies.

Winners are selected based on their revenue of the past four years, and for consideration each company must have at least $3 million in revenue. Some companies this year have pushed past $1 billion.

One winner will be selected from each category during a September 27 dinner and awards ceremony at the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford. The evening will also feature a mini trade show featuring all 40 companies.

Energy/Environment/Green Technology: Precision Combustion Inc., North Haven; Proton OnSite, Wallingford

IT Services: iSend, Middlebury

Life Sciences: Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Cheshire; Bio-Med Devices, Defibtech, both of Guilford

New Media/Internet/Telecom: HealthPlanOne, Shelton

Software: Core Informatics, Branford; FitLinxx, Shelton; Higher One, Prometheus Research, both New Haven; Tangoe, Orange.
